The Backhouse wrote and produced many of the songs performed on the show during the first season of Victorious including collaborating with super hit producer Dr. Luke on the theme song, "Make It Shine." The Backhouse also composes the score for the show.
Leave It All To Me
My World
First aired in 2007, The Backhouse has written the original score for every episode of the first three seasons of iCarly, over sixty episodes. The Backhouse wrote and produced the theme “Leave It All To Me” as well as songs performed during some episodes. Two of The Backhouse songs appear on the iCarly: Music From and Inpsired By the TV Show released 2008 on Sony/BMG. At the time of this writing, Michael Corcoran has won two BMI TV Music Awards for his work on iCarly, in 2009 and 2010.
I Found A Way
Christmas Promise
The Backhouse wrote and produced “Found A Way” with Drake Bell, the theme song for the television program and scored the final 25 episodes of the show. The Backhouse also wrote the themes and original scores for the movies “Drake and Josh Go Hollywood” and “Merry Christas Drake and Josh”. During the same period, Drake Bell and The Backhouse completed 2 albums together: Telegraph released independently in 2006 and It’s Only Time released on Universal/Motown in 2007. Telegraph was later rereleased on Universal/Motown in 2008. Michael Corcoran was awarded a BMI TV Music Award in 2006 for his work on Drake and Josh.
